Mt 5:18 Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place.


As Christians we should always try to obey God's commandments because this verse tells us that they will never change This verse is about perseverance. It says that God's law will remain whole and intact even when the universe passes away.

This verse in Matthew's gospel is often interpreted as the permanence of Christ's teaching. The teaching itself is enduring and unchangeable, so no matter what happens in this world, it will always stand true.

Jesus loves me. Say it out loud.
