Luke 13:29; And people will come from the east and the west and from the north and the south and will recline at table in the kingdom of God. The verse is talking about the spread of the gospel to all corners of the earth. Jesus is emphasizing that this will be accomplished through people. The verse does not say anything about technology or other means. Luke 13:29 has been used in relation to technology, specifically social media, for a couple of reasons. One reason is that it talks about people coming from different geographical areas, which can apply to people accessing different parts of the internet with their devices. Another interpretation would be that technology allows people to communicate with one another more easily and quickly than ever before - even across large distances. Finally, social media platforms are great for spreading messages and content to large audiences all at once - which could also be seen as spreading "from east to west". Jesus uses a metaphor to
Luke 10:34-39; Samaritan approached the victim, poured oil and wine over his wounds and bandaged them. Then he lifted him up his own animal, took him to an inn and cared for him. The story of the Good Samaritan has been told to Christians ever since its written down in the Bible. Every time we hear this story, it reminds us of how important sacrificial love is. This is a story about how Jesus tells us that we need to be kind to one another and love each other unconditionally. Jesus loves me . Say it out loud. Say it again Jesus loves me . You are never alone. God Bless Brother Philip Philip@clevelandbenedictines.org
John 14:6;  Jesus said to him, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me. The phrase "No one comes to the father except through me" refers to Jesus Christ and his role as mediator between God and man. It also points to his life, death, and resurrection as necessary for salvation. This passage is in contrast with a passage from Acts 4:12 in which it says,"there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." The two passages speak to different ways of salvation with one being more exclusive than the other. We should not focus on the "no one" in John 14:6, but we should focus on what Jesus said to him. Jesus told us that we can come to God and be with God and that no one can do that except Jesus. Jesus is the way to the Father and the only way you can know God is through Christ. Jesus loves me . Say it out loud. Say it again Jesus loves me . You are never alone. God Bless Brother Philip
John12:31; Now is the time of judgment on the world; now the ruler of the world will be driven out. Jesus talks about how when he is resurrected, he will judge and cast out Satan from his rule in this world. In this way, it represents a key moment in Christianity when God triumphs over Satan. The ruler of the world has been driven out. This refers to the removal of Satan from his position of power and authority in relation to his kingdom There is only one ruler in the world, and that is God (1 Corinthians 8:6). Satan cannot rule in this world any longer. The time of judgment has come on the world, not just for a one-time event but continuing until Christ returns. Jesus loves me . Say it out loud. Say it again Jesus loves me . You are never alone. God Bless Brother Philip Philip@clevelandbenedictines.org
John 8:34 Jesus answered them, "Amen, amen, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin." esus is telling us that we are slaves to sin and we all commit sin. These words show us the importance of our actions and how they can influence others. Jesus wants people to stop committing sins and live a life that belongs to God, not themselves. Jesus teaches his disciples about sin and how it enslaves us. He also tells them that he came to free them from sin and its effects. This is in line with what we know about Jesus in the Bible: that he came to save mankind from their sins, not to condemn them for their sins. Jesus loves me . Say it out loud. Say it again Jesus loves me . You are never alone. God Bless Brother Philip Philip@clevelandbenedictines.org
John 8:24; That is why I told you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins. This verse can be applied on a societal level if people do not believe in themselves or their purpose in life. This causes them to experience severe pain and sadness because they are living with no hope or without determining their own destiny. It is not difficult to see that the world suffers from a lack of faith. With so many people turning away from religion and spirituality, one would think that we would see an increase in morality and goodness. Instead, we have seen the opposite with criminals becoming more brazen and less fearful of consequences. The world is greedy, selfish, and violent. This is why it is so important for Catholics to stand up and show their faith proudly. There are many sins that people commit every day: Pride, Envy, Lustful Thoughts. It is important to remember sin as we live out our lives everyday because it reminds us to stay humb
John 3:16-17; For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have internal life For God did not sent his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned; whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. This passage explores what might happen if a person does not have faith in Jesus. The passage also emphasizes that a person cannot have faith without belief. Teaches to be more giving and understanding of others, even if they are different from them. It also teaches them to love their enemies, not to judge or condemn others, but to show mercy. Mt 4:23; He went around all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and curing every disease and illness among the people. Jesus is the perfect example of a minister who is always ready to help, heal and comfort people. He taught in synagogues for more than two years and while he did so he also healed many people from their illnesses or sicknesses. The gospel of the kingdom is Jesus' message of salvation that he preached to all people. It is for this reason that Jesus was called Good News or The Gospel by John in his gospel. Jesus was able to do many miracles, proving his divinity over nature, but what was most important about him was that he did these miracles to show us who he was and what we could become through him. He performed these miracles for us, so we can believe in him and follow him as disciples of faith and not just faithless believers. Jesus is an excellent example of a minister. He cared for the people that he encountered, and
Mark 13:36-43: "Then dismissing the crowds, he went into the house. His disciples approached him and said, "Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field." He answered, “The one who sows good seed is the Son of Man; the field is the world, and the good seed are children of the kingdom; but the weeds are children of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. Just as weeds are collected and burned with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will collect out of his kingdom all who cause others to sin and all evildoers. They will throw them into the fiery furnace where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of the Father. Whoever has ears ought to hear. We know that the harvest is the end of the age. This is because at the end of every age, God sends his angels to collect all tho
Mt 10:7-13 As you go, make this proclamation: 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse leper, drive out demons. Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give.  Do not take gold or silver or copper for you belts; no sack for the tourney, or a second tunic, or sandals, or walking stick. The laborer deserves his keep. Whatever town or village you enter, look for a worthy person in it, and stay there until you leave. As you enter a house, wish it peace. If the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it; kf not, let your peace return to you. The verse is all about telling people that they can achieve greatness by following the teachings of Jesus Christ. It tells them that they need to spread the word of God and also help those in need. This verse is very inspirational and has shaped many people's lives thus far. The passage from Matthew 10:7-13 is a continuation of Jesus' instructions to his disciples before they went out in
Mt 5:18 Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place. As Christians we should always try to obey God's commandments because this verse tells us that they will never change This verse is about perseverance. It says that God's law will remain whole and intact even when the universe passes away. This verse in Matthew's gospel is often interpreted as the permanence of Christ's teaching. The teaching itself is enduring and unchangeable, so no matter what happens in this world, it will always stand true. Jesus loves me . Say it out loud. Say it again Jesus loves me . You are never alone. God Bless Brother Philip Philip@clevelandbenedictines.org
John 3:5 Jesus answered "Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit." In John 3:5 Jesus answers the question of Nicodemus, a religious leader and teacher of Israel, about how to be born again. He answers "Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit." This passage is often interpreted as meaning that baptism is required for salvation. This interpretation is not universal to all Christian denominations. Some believe that it means that without baptism you cannot enter into the church. While others believe it means just what Jesus said: birth from water and Spirit are necessary conditions for entering into the kingdom of God. John 3:5 has always been an important Bible verse for Christians. This is because it clearly establishes the requirement to enter the Kingdom of God. We are all born sinners, but through baptism, Christians have the opportunity to be b
John 18:36  Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world. The Bible verse John 18:36 is one of the most common verses that is quoted by many Christians. This verse is called the "kingdom of God" or "kingdom of heaven." The term “world” in this verse means the earthly world, not the spiritual world. It says that Jesus’ kingdom was not of this earth, which means it could have been referring to his teachings or to his followers because they were not from this earth either. It could also mean that Jesus wanted his followers to be aware of their lives on earth but focus on their eternal life .John 18:36 says "Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world;" which means that he wasn't interested in worldly power or control over people's lives, but rather their hearts and souls. From these words we learn that Jesus came into this world to bring people closer to God by teaching them about him through his words and deeds. Jesus loves me . Say it out lou
John 8:58 Jesus said to them, i  “Amen, amen, I say to you, before Abraham came to be, I AM." This is a testimony to the eternal life and power of Jesus Christ. It also has practical implications for how we should live. When we stand before God in eternity-when everything else falls away-we will be known by our relationship with him. No one can get past this scripture. Jesus is showing his divine power by claiming that he is God. He makes a bold statement that he had existed before any other human did. He then explains that he is eternal and has always existed. Jesus loves me . Say it out loud. Say it again Jesus loves me . You are never alone.  Mark 2:7-9 “Why does this fellow talk like that? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”  Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them,  “Why are you thinking these things?     Which is easier: to say to this paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, take your mat and walk’?   This is not the first time that Jesus hears these complaints. He has always been confronted with accusations of blasphemy. It’s not just the people who are criticizing him for this, but also his own disciples. John, one of these disciples, is even more outspoken than the others. The critics believe that Jesus is acting as if he himself were God, denying himself to be one of many gods and claiming to be the only God. They also believe he has no power to forgive sins because forgiveness can only come from God himself. Jesus understands what they are accusing him of and what they are implying about his identity as a
Lk7:18-23; Blessed is the one who takes no offense at me: The first word of this verse is not "Blessed is the one..." but "I am the one who takes no offense at you." The verb to bless is in the future tense here because Jesus' blessing does not come about until the disciples believe that. This verse, then, is an assurance to believers that they are blessed by Jesus because they have taken no offense at him. This means that they have believed in him, trusted him, and followed him. Always remember Jesus loves me . Say it out loud. Say it again Jesus loves me . You are never alone. God Bless Brother Philip Philip@clevelandbenedictines.org
Matthew 7:29 Jesus says in Matthew 7:29, “Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on rock.” This verse teaches that when we listen to what Jesus says and then put it into practice, we will be wise people who receive God’s blessings. The passage echoes this message by saying that not everyone will understand or appreciate Jesus’s message. However, those who do understand and put it into action are the ones blessed by God.
