Mk1:1; Rom 1:1-30 Jesus Himself, the Good News of God 

As the Good News of God, Jesus Himself is the message of God revealed to man.

This first section describes how Jesus is the good news of God. He was a fulfillment of what people were waiting for in regards to salvation and life.

Jesus Himself is described as the 'message' that was revealed to man, it was so important that they knew that he would be coming and found him when he finally arrived.

The opening chapter of Mark’s Gospel presents Jesus, the Messiah, as the fulfillment of Old Testament hope.

The opening chapter of Mark’s Gospel presents Jesus, the Messiah, as the fulfillment of Old Testament hope. The Good News proclaimed in Romans is that Jesus Christ has defeated sin and death and has made us alive in Him. God's love for us is revealed in this act of victory by His Son who died for our sins.

In today's age where there are so many messages to choose from to find meaning and wisdom, it is easy to become overwhelmed with options; however, it is important to remember that there is only one true gospel, one true good news, found in Jesus Christ.

Always remember Jesus loves me. Say it out loud.

Romans 5:8-9 says, "But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from eternal condemnation. Romans 5:8-9 reminds us that God shows great love for us, as sinful human beings, through Jesus' sacrifice. This provides us eternal hope and a way to have an individual relationship with Him.
