St. Benedict's advice remains relevant for the modern world. His advice is: "If you wish to live in peace, do not spread discord; if you want to live in unity, do not let selfishness govern your actions."

St Benedict’s words can be applied to many aspects of life such as family and work relationships, or even communal and global relations.

His advice was written with humility and acceptance of all people regardless of their social status or ethnicity, which is a view that still needs to be held today.

In Christianity, worship is often seen as “the work of the people”. It is what separates Christians from those who do not know Christ. Worship centers Christian life on Jesus Christ because he has been the one to redeem us from our sins.

Patience and Humility are two personality traits that help us to be calmer in the face of adversity and more empathetic to others. The world is becoming an increasingly competitive place. This is why it's important for each of us to do what we can to cultivate these two personality traits.

We may not realize it, but when we have patience and humility, we are much more effective at our work. We can stay on task without being derailed by the outside world or other people’s opinions about our capabilities.

Being patient and humble can open up doors for us that might otherwise be closed because people know that they can count on us.

Always remember Jesus loves me. Say it out loud.

Say it again Jesus loves me.

You are never alone. God Bless Brother Philip
