John 18:36  Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world.

The Bible verse John 18:36 is one of the most common verses that is quoted by many Christians. This verse is called the "kingdom of God" or "kingdom of heaven." The term “world” in this verse means the earthly world, not the spiritual world.

It says that Jesus’ kingdom was not of this earth, which means it could have been referring to his teachings or to his followers because they were not from this earth either. It could also mean that Jesus wanted his followers to be aware of their lives on earth but focus on their eternal life

.John 18:36 says "Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world;" which means that he wasn't interested in worldly power or control over people's lives, but rather their hearts and souls. From these words we learn that Jesus came into this world to bring people closer to God by teaching them about him through his words and deeds.
