Mt 13:45-46; Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant searching for fine pearls. When he finds a pearl of great price, he goes and sells all that he has and buys it.

The story is usually taken as an allegory for the way God's kingdom works. The idea is that "the kingdom of heaven is like" such and such because it has these qualities or features. So in this case, the kingdom of heaven is like (or "is said to be") a merchant searching for fine pearls because they're both looking for valuable items to sell at a profit.

This passage is a metaphor for life. We are all on a journey, seeking to find our way in this world. Like the merchant, we are looking for something more valuable than anything else that has been found before.

Jesus says that this "pearl" is something that he has to search for. He has to search for it because it's not plainly visible. It takes work and patience to find this pearl-like kingdom of heaven, but when he finds it, he knows that it's worth everything.

This pearl-like kingdom of heaven is described by Jesus as something that has the highest value in the world. It is precious and rare, and when found, nobody can give enough in return for what they have received.

Jesus loves me. Say it out loud.

Say it again Jesus loves me.

You are never alone. God Bless Brother Philip
