Mt 10:1 And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every infirmity.

Mt. 10:1 is one of the most influential verses in the bible as it has been translated and quoted by many authors as well as religious groups.

Some religious groups such as Catholics like to use this verse to elaborate on how they should be leaders in their communities. They believe that they should not only be good people, but also good leaders who are capable of giving hope and healing to those who need it most.

Jesus gave the twelve disciples authority to heal and cast out demons.

In this biblical verse, we can see that Jesus gives his disciples power to heal and cast out unclean spirits. This is a sign that Jesus had given them the authority over unclean spirits and it can be interpreted as a demonstration of his strength.

It is important to note that the Bible does not mention anything about where they might have gained this ability; however, later text in Matthew clarifies that they were granted it through prayer and fasting.

Jesus loves me. Say it out loud.

Say it again Jesus loves me.
