Lk 4:43 To other towns I must announce the good news of the reign of God, because that is why I was sent.

Jesus Christ is the true and everlasting messenger of God. He not only preached the gospel, but also demonstrated it with his life.

Luke 4:43-44 states that Jesus was sent to announce the reign of God to other towns and that he came to fulfill his role as a messenger of the good news. This passage illustrates that Jesus did not simply preach about life in heaven or how people should behave, but actually showed people what it looked like by living out this gospel himself.

"Good news" is a term we often hear. But few of us know that the "good news" is not just something that we feel good about, but it's actually a message that was sent to us.

God has sent his son to us and God loves us so much that he wants to save our souls so he can live in heaven again with us for eternity. And this "good news" is not something that only Christians should be excited about - it's for all people because Jesus came for the salvation of all mankind.

In Luke 4:43, Jesus is announcing the good news of the reign of God to other towns. The word “reign” originates from the Latin term “regnum” which means a king’s rule over his kingdom, and in this case it refers to God ruling over his kingdom.

The good news that Jesus is talking about at this point is that God has vindicated him after he has suffered and was died on a cross. Jesus does not want all of the attention for himself though; he wants us to partake in his victory as well, so he sends people out just like he did with missionaries throughout history.

Always remember Jesus loves me. Say it out loud.

Say it again Jesus loves me.

You are never alone. God Bless Brother Philip
