Jn 3:16 Yes, God so loved the world that he gave his only Son.

If we love one another, if we keep God's commandments, then God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. John claims that if people abide in God's love and do what he commands, then the Father's love will be in them and they will know that he is in them.

John 3:16 is a Bible verse which starts with "God so loved the world that he gave his only Son." This verse goes on to say "that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." The verse is a part of the Gospel of John and it was written by John. The context of this verse is the Bible as a whole, or Christian theology as a whole. Finally, this verse does not mention any other religions or beliefs.
