John 8:58 Jesus said to them,i “Amen, amen, I say to you, before Abraham came to be, I AM."

This is a testimony to the eternal life and power of Jesus Christ.

It also has practical implications for how we should live.

When we stand before God in eternity-when everything else falls away-we will be known by our relationship with him.

No one can get past this scripture. Jesus is showing his divine power by claiming that he is God. He makes a bold statement that he had existed before any other human did.

He then explains that he is eternal and has always existed.

Jesus loves me. Say it out loud.

Say it again Jesus loves me.

Romans 5:8-9 reminds us that God shows great love for us, as sinful human beings, through Jesus' sacrifice. This provides us eternal hope and a way to have an individual relationship with Him.
